To meet the demands of today's workplace, a training program must be flexible and convenient for frontline staff. PSG is a pioneer in combining traditional courses, workshops, and consultation with e-learning options, now in development, that can be accessed any time, anywhere.
As we develop our list of e-learning subjects, take advantage of the opportunities we offer to learn during unexpected downtimes, while communting, or whenever you have a free moment to take another step toward your goals.
Podcasts are audio files that you can easily download to your computer. You can play the files on the computer or copy them to an iPod or other portable MP3 player.
Podcasts are only a few minues each, cover a wide range of topics, and may feature our own staff or guest speakers. We also welcome your suggestions for additional topics.
Webinars are live, online audio and video presentations offered to a group of learners. You use your webcam-equipped computer to interact with the group, including the PSG staff member who coordinates the webinar.
Webinars can also be recorded by the coordinator and distributed later on DVD. While not offering a live experience, they provide a convenient way to learn from previous presentations and discussions.
Interactive learning modules include activities such as simulations, games, and quizzes.
Download and try them at your own pace, in as many sessions as you like, without any special software on your computer. They're a quick, enjoyable way to learn or reinforce important concepts and key information.
Web videos are short, self-contained presentations that you can watch on almost any recent computer. Some MP3 players, including many iPods, can also play web videos.
When a topic requires visual material, such as photos or charts, we present it as a web video instead of a podcast.
DVD is the best medium for longer presentations and compilations of shorter ones.
Our DVDs can be played on most recent home DVD players, computers, and portable DVD players.
CD delivers longer audio presentations in a format that can be used almost anywhere.
Our CDs are compatible with standard home CD players, portable players, and in-car players. Most computers and DVD players are also able to play a CD.
Virtual Office Hours enable you to schedule phone and video conference meetings with our staff. This is an ideal way for individuals and small groups to resolve specific issues and move the Lean process forward.
If you have a webcam at work or home, ask us for instructions on taking advantage of a video meeting or consultation at a pre-selected time.
